Watching Yourself Live
2018 — Watching Yourself Live is a short film about how our relationship to history and the world we live in can affect the pursuit of the future, loosely inspired by Paolo Virno’s Déjà Vu and the End of History
Kris has left the decay of the city and made their way into the woods. They come across a cabin and decide to begin squatting. As they go about their days performing mundane tasks the radio tells them about the chaos of the world they left behind, until they realize that isolation is not the solution.
